Simple Stamping Hello

Hello Everyone ~ I have an adorable Simple Stamping Hello creation to share with you today!

I managed to get my catalog spiral bound yesterday.  There is a small Copy & Print shop here that Barb told me about.  I went over and they did a spiral binding with a plastic cover and backing for $2.50.  I could not believe it was so much cheaper than what I have paid in the past in Maryland.  Now it is time to highlight what I have and post-it note what I am thinking of ordering.  I know I will get the new daisy set and coordinating punch.  I already have the Sailing Away bundle.  In fact I am using the Sailing Away bundle and doing a different 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder on Thursday evening in my Facebook Live.  If you need some ideas for Father’s Day cards set your reminder and join us at Creations in Paper.  We would love to have you join us!  Be on the look out for my In Color club post and a new Designer Series Paper share.  I am working on the posts and should have them up by the end of the week.  With the new catalog coming out, you will want to get the samples as soon as possible!

Today is the Hand Stamped Sentiments Blog Challenge.  Today’s challenge is a color challenge.

Aren’t these colors gorgeous together?  I had to spend a little time thinking about how I was going to use them before I started creating.  I opted for a clean and simple card today to give you some inspiration for some simple stamping.  I began with a Whisper White Card base.  I also cut a Stitched Rectangle shape.  The shape was a little taller than I wanted so I cut out the first rectangle then using the same thinlit, I shifted the paper up so that some of the cut shape was above the thinlit.  I made sure the stitching lined up by placing the piercing holes in the holes on the shape.  You can do this by getting the shape close to the size you want and then slowly shifting the thinlit down.  When the holes and piercing holes line up the framelit locks into place.  Once it was locked into place, I cut the framelit again which cut off the extra at the top and the stitching pattern continued all the way around.  I needed my rectangle to help me determine where to stamp my circles.  Using the circles from You’re Inspiring and Coastal Cabana ink I stamped them where the upper left hand corner and lower right hand corner of the rectangle were ~ use your rectangle for placement.  After those circles were stamped I added some circles using the Daisy Delight stamp set using a second generation stamping of both Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo.  Now that my card base was ready it was time to stamp my rectangle.  Using the Stitched Rectangle and the Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, and Melon Mambo marker I colored the image.  I then stamped it in the lower left hand corner of the rectangle.  I added the sentiment using Coastal Cabana ink.  The rectangle was added to the card front using dimensionals.  A strip of 4 clear rhinestones were added under the sentiment to finish off the card.  Here is the completed Simple Stamping Hello creation.
