Hello Stampers ~ here is an idea for a #ShopYourCraftStash Petal Palette creation.
I spent most of yesterday at the hospital with my sister. I was there when they were doing physical therapy and to hear what the doctor said. I talked to the Case Manager and the Patient Advocate. After I talked to the Patient Advocate the Floor Manager came in and we talked. We discussed our concerns and set a plan in place. When I talked to her this evening one of the things we wanted to happen has happened so I guess they are finally getting the message that they need to try and attempt to take care of some of the issues.
I was looking through my catalog and ran across a card I decided to see if I could make it using a retired set I had. This photo on page 61 was the one I wanted to recreate.
So it looked like the card stock was Crumb Cake. I need to find a sprig I could use to create the panel down the right hand side. In looking at my craft stash I ran across Petal Palette and decided to use it. The photo from the catalog had used the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and I did not have it but I did have the Woodgrain embossing folder so opted to use it. I chose to change the colors a bit and use Sahara Sand as my base. I took the Soft Suede and stamped the image down the right hand side of the card front rotating the image 90 degrees each time. To color it I used a Pear Pizzazz marker for the leaves and then used a White gel pen for the base of the flowers. The tops were colored using a Calypso Coral marker. Using a 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Sahara Sand I embossed it using the embossing folder. Linen thread was wrapped around one edge of the embossed card stock and then the card stock was added to the card base using dimensionals making sure the left edges were even. A scrap of Calypso Coral was used to stamp the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo black ink. The end was then flagged. Dimensionals were also used to attach the sentiment to the card. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Petal Palette card.
