#ShopYourCraftStash ~ Touches of Texture

Hello Stampers ~ It’s Saturday and that means it is time for another #ShopYourCraftStash ~ Touches of Texture idea.

I am still cleaning.  I managed to get the bathroom cleaned and quite a bit of the laundry done.  I still have laundry to do as well as mop the floors.  I will be working on that today.  My Stampin’ Up order did not come until 5 yesterday so I did not get a chance to play with any of that.  I will be playing with it today as well as making my videos for this week.  I did open it last night and discovered I ordered 2 of the Stitched Nested Labels dies.  I hate when that happens.

For my #ShopYourCraftStash creation I checked out my retired stamp sets.  I saw my Touches of Texture stamp set which is one of my all time favorite sets.  I knew I would use it today.  Since I had a limited amount of time I went looking for a sketch challenge and a color challenge.  I found the perfect color challenge at Just Add Ink

I did flip the sketch so the small panel was at the top.  I stamped the flower spray using Night Of Navy ink.  I then colored the buds using Blushing Bride and a Blender Pen.  The flowers were colored with Rich Razzleberry and a Blender Pen.  The leaves were Balmy Blue using a Blender Pen.  I mounted the image panel onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry.  The Tin Tile embossing folder was used with a piece of Whisper White.  This was mounted onto a piece of Blushing Bride using Tear & Tape.  This panel was added to a Night of Navy card base.  The image panel was added on top using dimensionals.  A 1 1/4″ strip of Balmy Blue and then the end was punched using the Banner Triple punch.  This strip was added to the lower left hand side of the card front using Tear & Tape.  The cute dragonfly was stamped onto a scrap paper of Whisper White using Balmy Blue.  I colored the dragonfly with Clear Wink of Stella and then fussy cut.  I added the dragonfly using a dimensional.  Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash ~ Touches of Texture creation.
