Forever Blossoms Hello

Hello Everyone ~ a card with lots of interest is my share with the Forever Blossoms Hello creation.

Yesterday was a busy day.  I had a conference call in the morning and then I went to the studio to make 2 cards I needed ~ one of which is for my Facebook Live tonight.  After that we had game day where a group of us get together every couple of weeks to play games for a few hours in the afternoon.  We played a couple of card games yesterday.  It will be my turn to host next and I will be checking out games to see what I can find for us to play.  If you have any fun games let me know the names so I can check them out.  I also managed to read my book for book club so I am right on track to have the book finished next week.  I may try to finish it this weekend so I don’t have to read it on Monday the day of the meeting.  Today I do not have anything scheduled.  I will work on some cards for a class I want to have at the end of the month and I need to go shopping for some groceries.

My card today was inspired by a sketch I saw online.  The sketch had a diamond in the lower right hand corner of a landscape card.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies to create a Basic Black shape to use for my card.  I had stamped a bunch of the flowers and leaves from the Forever Blossoms set using Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I used my colored pencils to color the flowers and leaves and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  For my sentiment I stamped the one from Good Morning Magnolia in Pool Party on a strip of Whisper White.  I cut the strip down to be 3/4″ wide and used the Banner Triple punch to flag each end.  A 1″ strip of Basic Black was used and the ends flagged so the sentiment could be layered on it.  The card front of my Pool Party card was embossed using the Tufted embossing folder.  To put the card together, the Basic Black stitched shape was added to the lower right hand corner using Tear & Tape.  The leaves were added to the back of the flowers using glue dots and then the flowers were added to the Basic Black using dimensionals..  The sentiment layers were added to the upper left hand corner of the card using dimensionals.  To finish the card, rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers.  Here is the completed Forever Blossoms Hello creation.

There are some fabulous products in the 2020 Occasions Catalog.  This idea uses the very popular Poppy Moments dies.  The Positive Thoughts stamp set was used for this great card.  This fun Spring card uses the Timeless Tulips stamp set for a pretty Spring card.
