Best Dressed Clean and Simple Smile

Hello Everyone ~ I C.A.S.E.d a good friend of mine with the Best Dressed Clean and Simple Smile creation today.

I played all day in my studio.  I got my cards for this week created, my videos created, my Facebook Live Sample for tomorrow, and even played with a few ideas I saw on the internet I wanted to try.  I had a simple Easter dinner and worked on my taxes.  I should be ready to file them in a day or 2.  I know time is running out so I think I will take today and see if I can finish them.  I do need to deposit a check in the bank as well as pick up my Walmart order.  I submitted it the other day and  it will be ready for pick up today.  I don’t normally have them do my shopping, but with the way things are right now I figured it would be safer for them to do the shopping.  We will find out as I stated I did not want to allow substitutions.  I will let you know how it goes.

I am in a Facebook group that started recently where we C.A.S.E. another person in the group.  One of my good friends from Australia started the group and I love her work.  I chose this card from her blog to make my version.

To make my version of her card I choose one of the other patterns.  I mounted it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock on the left hand side.  This panel was mounted onto a piece of Basic Black card stock.  I wrapped the Lovely Lipstick grosgrain ribbon around the card covering the edge of the designer series paper.  Another panel of Whisper White was embossed using the Subtle embossing folder.  It was added to a Lovely Lipstick card base using Tear & Tape.  The designer series panel was added to the card base using dimensionals.  Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies a shape was cut out of Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White.  The sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White shape using Lovely Lipstick ink.  This panel was mounted onto the Lovely Lipstick panel so the color showed at the top of the shape.  The sentiment was added to the card base using dimensionals.  The grosgrain ribbon was used to tie a bow and then added to the sentiment shape with a glue dot.  To finish the card some black dimensionals were sprinkled on the front.  Here is the completed Best Dressed Clean and Simple Smile.

I love all the white space on this card. It really makes the card pop. See the card and the details so you can make one.

These images go so well with the flowers in the Best Dressed dsp. See which pattern from the collection I used on the card front of the Best Dressed Clean and Simple Smile card.

The flower patterns in this collection of designer series papers are gorgeous.  This idea is another clean and simple card.  I love how strips of designer series paper were used to create this fun idea.  This card is another idea for using the paper with a stamp set that has an image that coordinated with the paper.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I hope you had a good Easter and will be able to spend some time being creative today.  I would love to have you join me for my Facebook Live today at noon EST.  We will be working on a One Sheet Wonder with a Twist idea.  Have a Marvelous Monday and do you agree that the Best Dressed Clean and Simple Smile is a great card to C.A.S.E.?
