Hello Everyone ~ here is a cute Birthday Bonanza Balloons card idea for you!
Well yesterday morning was very interesting. As most of the south was under a severe weather threat it meant we would be inside for the morning. I took all my loose items outside ~ grill, porch decorations, whirlygig, etc. ~ and put them in the garage. Did not want to take any chances we would have a tornado and them blow all over the neighborhood. Last night I started working on my taxes. It has been several years since I did them myself and I was struggling. I am waiting to see if I can itemize or take the standard deduction. I am hoping I can itemize but we’ll see. This has been a real learning experience for me!
At Hand Stamped Sentiments Paper Crafting Challenges we have an inspiration challenge this week.
The first thing I saw on this poster was all the balloons. I immediately thought of the Birthday Bonanza suite in the Occasions catalog. It has some fun papers in the designer series paper collection. I pulled out the one that has all the balloons on it to use for my card. I found a fun sketch online that I knew would be perfect to use. I began by embossing the card front using the Subtle embossing folder. I then chose 2 patterns from the Birthday Bonanza designer series paper and mounted each onto a coordinating card stock. These were then then layered onto the card front. The sentiment was stamped using Bermuda Bay and mounted onto a piece of the same color card stock. This square was added to the card front using dimensionals. Here is my quick and easy Birthday Bonanza Balloons creation.
