Label Me Pretty Birthday from Stampin’ Up

Happy Monday Stampers ~ A pretty Coastal Cabana Label Me Pretty Birthday from Stampin’ Up creation for today.

I am so excited!  My friend Bard and her husband Doug came over and Doug rigged up a system for my lights.  I love it and now I have lots of light so I know my videos will be fine.  After they left I spent a lot of time playing in my craft room yesterday.  The day before I had made a bunch of panels using the Buffalo Check background stamp and I also played with the painter’s tape technique.  I had done the painter’s tape technique in my Facebook Live on Thursday and the ideas just kept coming to me.  I will be sharing those at a later time.  Needless to say I did not do any knitting.  Today I need to make some videos for this week so I will be working on that.  I know I will have some extra time so I will be knitting a little after that.  I still have a few rounds left before the scarf is finished.  Then I will need to block it.  I will make sure I take pictures of it when it is done.  It is taking a lot longer than I thought as there are so many beads on it.  There are over 2,000 beads which is why it is taking longer than I thought it would.

I am always looking for great birthday cards.  Since the Label Me Pretty stamp set is up next on my second round of the Catalog Journey I decided to use the birthday sentiment for my creation today.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The Coastal Cabana marker was used to color in the larger flowers.  I then used the Soft Sea Foam marker to color in the leaves.  The Stitched Shapes framelits were used to cut out the completed image.  The clear Wink of Stella pen was used to add some highlight to the flowers.  I wanted to have a decorative oval to put the image inside so I pulled out the Delightfully Detailed laser cut specialty paper.  They had the perfect panel I could use.  I cut it out, went over it with the Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle, and mounted it onto a Coastal Cabana card base.  The image was ten added in the center using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Label Me Pretty Birthday from Stampin’ Up creation.
