Hello Everyone ~ The Birch Background Gives Great Texture to the Daisy flower.
I have used several different background stamps to add texture to my flowers this past week. This technique adds lots of interest to your flowers.
When creating flowers for my card front I always look for ways to add interest and texture to the completed flower. I don’t always want to use the stamped image so I had to find another method to bring my flowers to life. I decided to try my background stamps and see if they would give me the look I wanted.
Today I used the Birch Background stamp with the Medium Daisy punch. This stamp and punch had some challenges in that you had to punch the flower in a manner to get the texture from the stamp. The stamp has lots of blank space so you need to look at it carefully to ensure you get some of the texture from the stamp. Layering the punches helps to ensure the flower has some texture on it.
To see how I put the card together after I stamped the background stamp, check out the video for The Birch Background Gives Great Texture to the Daisy card.
