Happy Friday Stampers – Wait until you see this fun way to use Ribbon on Cards!

Zoie and I are having a blast. We have been to the pool a few times, she did a pottery painting class, and today we are going shopping. Last night she was my guest stamper on my Facebook Live. It was mystery stamping night so it was a lot of fun to see her take on my directions. Here is her card she made last night.

There are some gorgeous ribbons in the upcoming Mini Catalog. I had to order some of them. I love ribbons and my only stipulation is that it must be soft and easy to tie. When I got the ribbon in I had to check it out. I opened the packages and checked out the ones I had ordered. As they were laying on my table there were a few that I just knew would make a fabulous element if I can figure out a way to use them together.

A sketch challenge popped up in my search and immediately knew I could use the ribbon to complete the layout. The sketch had 3 diagonal stripes going across the card front. The ribbon would be perfect for those stripes. I did modify the sketch a little and placed the ribbons side by side.

All I needed after that were some die cuts. I chose to use the Pierced Blooms dies and made some flowers. My colors came from the ribbons. I added a sentiment and I have the prettiest pink and black card. Check out my interesting way to use ribbon on cards.

Look at this striking pink and black card. Isn't it so pretty. Don't you love this fun way to use Ribbon on Cards?

Here are some other ideas for using ribbon on your card. This one uses 2 narrow ribbons for a fun element. Sometimes you don’t have a ribbon in the color you need. When that happens you can dye it like the ribbon on this card.
