Stampin’ Up So Many Snowflakes
Snowflake cards are one of my favorite type of card to make. I love the look of white on white and the bit of sparkle reminds me of softly falling snow. That was the inspiration for my Stampin’ Up So Many Snowflakes card.
The Less is More clean and simple challenges had a Winter Whites challenge.
To begin, I took a white panel and used the die cut to cut the snowflake cut out in the center of the panel. I die cut some snowflakes out of white glitter paper and set them on the panel. It still needed something so I decided to pull out the white glittered organdy ribbon and added it to the top of the panel.
The panel was added to a white card base using dimensionals. The die cut snowflakes were added to card front using glue dots. To finish the card, a bow was added to the top of the card with a glue dot. The measurements are very easy since it is only 2 panels.
Measurements
Card Base: White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
top layer: White 4″ x 5 1/4″
One of the snowflakes from the stamp set was used to stamp snowflakes down the side of the inside of the card and envelope.
Here are some other snowflake card ideas. This one uses one of the dies cut out in blue glitter paper. This one pairs the snowflake dies with some patterned paper.
Here are the limited supplies you will need to make this card.
