Stampin’ Up Awash in Beauty
Hello Everyone – I can’t let go of Summer yet without sharing this pretty Stampin’ Up Awash in Beauty creation.
Those who know me know my favorite color is pink. I usually go for the bold pinks but I also like crafting with the soft pinks. The beautiful Awash in Beauty pattern paper has a soft pink that was perfect for a simple card.
If you like to craft with soft colors and simple watercolor images that this suite fits that bill. I have used it so much in my crafting.
The layout for this card is a great way to use several different patterns from the same collection. The flowered pattern determined the other 2 patterns to use. I love it when the paper can do all the work!
The 5 petal flower is my favorite one to use in this set. I have used it more than the other 2. The smaller size and simplicity make it perfect to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
If you are a fan of pink then you will love this idea that uses the Blushing Bride with Merry Merlot. The pattern paper in this collection pairs well with other stamp sets. I used it with the Nature’s Prints dies to create this beautiful card.
I think the Mossy Meadow is a nice green to use with the Blushing Bride. They both have a muddy undertone. Keep this combo in mind when you are struggling with choosing colors in your card making.
