Hello everyone – read on to see How to make a fun shaped focal image for your cards.

This is the last dsp/pattern paper collaboration for Vicky’s and myself using the Glorious Gingham pattern paper/dsp. Make sure you check out her card by clicking the link above.

I love the Countryside Corners dies but my budget doesn’t allow me to order them right now. I knew I wanted to use the shape for today’s creation and since the shape is fairly basic. I decided to see if I could make them. I think the time and effort I put into making it paid off. What do you think?

Check out that little strip of dsp/pattern paper under the sentiment. It is actually the sliver that is cut off when you cut down the panel to fit the length of your card. Great way to use every scrap from your paper.

What do you think of this color combination? Something different for a change. Will be trying some other color combos with Lemon Lime Twist.

This card uses another one of the large patterns for the background. This idea uses the pattern paper for a background.
