Happy birthday sketch idea
Hello Everyone – we have a new sketch for you this week and I used it to create this Happy birthday sketch idea.
Last week Vicky and I shared ideas for our first sketch. This week we have a new sketch to play with.
For today’s idea using the sketch we are beginning with a clean and simple idea. I got the Merry Bold & Bright dsp from the new holiday mini. While I am not fond of the Christmas side of the paper the reverse side has great bold, bright patterns. I can’t wait to play with them in so many ways.
I chose the striped pattern to use for today’s card. This paper just said to me birthday party so I went with that idea and came up with this quick and easy idea.

This card is super easy but there is a trick to getting the angled paper. Here is the video to show you how.

Look at that dsp! Doesn’t it just scream party! It is one of my favorite patterns in the collection.
That adorable cupcake is perfect for decorating the inside of the card and envelope. I love the fact that you can color it using your markers to get 2 colors. With the dsp there are so many colors you can choose from.
Look at this fun layout using the Circle Saying stamp set. A great way to brighten someone’s day. And you don’t have to use a circle because it says so in the title. You can use an image and make it a square like this idea.
