World Card Making Day Challenge 3
Hello Everyone – another World Card Making Day Challenge 3 card is the idea today.
If you need some inspiration for your card making, check out challenges. The World Card Making Group on Facebook had a full day event with lots of different ideas for your card making. I was not able to participate in sharing ideas so I decided to make cards to share.
The 3rd challenge used tags from the Festive Tags kit. I did not have the kit so I #Shopyourcraftstash and used some tag dies I had to make the main element. I did some ink blending to create some Fall leaves to add and I had my supplies to create this great card!
The Winter Meadow dsp has some beautiful patterns and colors. Love the blues, greens, and browns they combined along with a brown. The background has some watercolor designs in the same colors used for the patterns.
To make the leaves I used some ink blending and Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Pecan Pie. I blended the 3 colors onto white card stock and then used the Autumn Leaves dies to cut it out. To highlight the indentations on the leaves I used the Pecan Pie marker and traced it. Check out the leaves below.
When using the dsp, cut a panel that has the deer image on it for extra interest. Using an embossing folder for the white panel adds texture. The gold tag adds a bit of shine for more interest.
The Winter Meadow pattern paper has beautiful images. I used one of the panels to chop it up and make this great card. Here are 2 cards that use other patterns from the collection.
