Throwback Thursday – Halloween idea
Hello everyone – a fun Throwback Thursday – Halloween idea card is the share for today.
I saw an idea that I thought was too cute not to share it with you. I was not thrilled with the Halloween choices this year so decided to use the idea and some retired punches and embossing folder to show how you can use what you already have to make a fun card.
I had several cobweb embossing folders and chose this one for today’s idea. I inked it using 3 Halloween colors – Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie – before adding to my card base. The using circle punches, classic label punch, and black card stock I created the spider for the cobweb. Here is the finished card.
About my card
Gorgeous Grape – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic Black – scraps for punching
This embossing folder is fun to use. Here is an idea that used it with card stock for a background. On this card I used the debossed side for a different look.
