Yellow and Navy

Good Morning Ladies ~ I don’t know about you but one of my favorite color combos is yellow and navy!  The yellow makes my image pop on my card today.

Jess and the girls are in Ohio.  She went out to visit her friends for a few days.  She left yesterday afternoon and it is an 8 hour trip.  I am glad she will be with friends for a few days.  It will be quiet here for me also.  I am hoping to make some videos as I won’t have to worry about doing it when it is quiet.  On Saturday I am doing an all day crop.  I need to get Michaela’s album completed!  Wish me luck!

Today I used a sketch from Try Stampin’ – or not – on Tuesday.  This was a sketch from a few weeks ago and I totally forgot to post it.  I used it to make my workshop card for this month.

I loved this sketch and thought it would be perfect to use the new Floral Boutique designer series paper.  I also decided to use the Detailed Floral Thinlits for the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the large flower on watercolor paper and used aqua painters and ink to color the flower in, then you cut it out.  To make the flower pop I added a strip of Crushed Curry card stock and ds paper.  I stamped the flower cluster twice on the bottom.  My card is complete!  Here is the what the final creation looked like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am headed to the yarn shop this morning and a pedicure in the afternoon.  When I get home I will finish vacuuming and then spend time in my craft room!  Have a Great Day and show me what you would create using yellow and navy!
