CutCardStock scrap idea

Hello everyone – check out this clean and simple CutCardStock scrap idea.
Using basic shapes is a great way to maximize the use of your pattern paper when you don’t have a lot to work with. You can use whatever size you want and your card will turn out perfect.
Today’s Project
If you have a lot of basic shapes dies, you can use them to make a great card. You can use any shape with this layout and it will work. You don’t need a lot of pattern paper either so this is a great way to use up your scraps. This card uses some coffee themed paper making it a fun card to send to your coffee loving friends.

To add interest I added several layers for the background. The embossed panel adds texture. Finish it off with some brown gems and your card is ready to brighten someone’s day.

Want another idea for smaller pieces of pattern paper? Check out this one that uses a square of pattern paper for some interest. Here is another way to use shapes to highlight a die cut.
