Anything Goes Saturday – cute quokka
Hello everyone – I made the Anything Goes Saturday – cute quokka to send to Vicky!
Today’s card was one I wanted to create for Vicky as she had talked about these animals. I have something to send to her so I am going to include it in the card.
Today’s Project
When I placed my order with Lawn Fawn I got this cute stamp set and die for free on Black Friday. I knew I would use it to make a card for Vicky. I paired it with the Pull-n-slide dies for a fun card idea. I was glad I had Jennifer McGuire’s Small Business Saturday video to refer to in putting this together. I kept my decorations to the minimum as it would cost way too much to mail to Australia if it was too thick.
The top tap had a die cut you could use to indicate to pull it. If you have a stamp that says “pull” you could use that also. When you pull the tab it reveals the message or scene on the inside.
To decorate the front I had an alcohol panel that I used to punch out some butterflies and added. I would have liked to add some gems but that would have made the card bulky and it would have cost more. The die set also had the hello die cut and scallop rectangle which made a great panel.

Here is an easy interactive card known as a buckle card. This idea is a little more involved than the buckle card but is very cute when completed.
