Another coloring technique

Hello Everyone!

Well our snow really surprised everyone.  We ended up with about 6 inches.  It was a beautiful snow.  I had to take Bijou out last night and it was so quiet and the flakes were huge and softly falling.  The trees and bushes were covered and everything was a beautiful white.  I love a snowfall like that.  I could have stayed outside for a while except I was tired and ready for bed.  When I got up yesterday morning there wasn’t much left of the trees and bushes.  I guess the wind blew it off.  It was still beautiful outside!

My card today uses the same image I used yesterday.  For this one I used a technique I first saw in Jennifer McGuire’s videos.  She shared a technique called Negative Space Coloring.  I would have loved to have my Misti when I did this but I didn’t so I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig.  I used my Copics to color the outside.

Then I stamped the image again with Versamark and embossed it with Silver embossing powder.  Then I just needed to put my card together and add some sequins.

My picture is not very good.  I took it last night.  I will try and retake it today in the sunlight and repost it.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be in my craft room again today as I need to get some thank you cards made.  I did get my workshop cards completed yesterday!  Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have a Super Saturday!
