Coloring Down the Lines – Friends

Happy Mid-Week Everyone!

Well I got item on my To Do List crossed off.  I still have quite a few but I am taking it one day at a time and slowly working through my list.  I will get it done but some of the items have a time frame to them.  It will be easier when the craft fair is over.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were chosen by Helen.

Stampin’ Up color matches

I started out thinking I was going to use a border stamp and cut around it to have a fancy edge.  When I had my stamp over top of my card stock and looked at it, I did not like the look.  So I went in a different direction.  I took the stamp and curled it on the block and then stamped in on the card stock to form a swirl.  Then I decided to stamp my flowers on card stock along with my leaves.  I cut them out and attached the leaves on the underside.  When I set them on my card it was to bare at the top.  I decided to stamp the one word from the sentiment.  When I stamped it I wanted a frame for it but it was too big for any punch I had.  I decided to cut it down and use the Label Bracket punch on the ends to give it a little pizzazz.  After I punched it, I cut a layering piece a little larger and used the same treatment on the ends.  After I layered it, I added some extra leaves to the end of it.  I then had my layout so I added my dimensionals and put my card together.  Here is what my final creation looks like.
