English Doodles

Hello Everyone!

Well I had most of the day to myself yesterday.  Zoie and Chris went to family fun day and they left at 6:30 in the morning.  When they got home about 5 yesterday Zoie was tired, hungry, and dirty.  She had a good time though and that is all that matters.  I was able to finish up my black and white with a pop of color and have designed and started on my 3 x 3’s.  I am hoping to get them finished today but that will depend on whether I have Zoie or not.

My card today began with the sketch challenge at Fab Friday.

I loved the simplicity of this sketch.  I decided to use some of the English Garden ds paper for the small square element.  Are you getting tired of seeing all the different ways I have used it?  I love the doodling in the Tin of Cards set.  I decided I would use it for my card.  After I had it all put together, I should have gone smaller on my square.  I topped it off with a punched flower using the pansy punch and the petite petals punches.  Here is my final creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  What will you be doing today?  Will you be creating?  Have a Sensational Sunday!

  2. So cute! I love that you used the DSP for the square element! I never seem to use the DSP a focal point but they are so pretty why not? Great job! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!

  3. Great card. I have the English Garden paper and just love it. I'm especially inspired by your stamping inside the card and matching that to the envelope. I need to do more of that!
