It’s the weekend Everyone!

I have lost track of what day it is as I have been so busy.  I have Zoie while Jess is in Ohio and she was here all day.  She stamped some this morning with my ladies and then she spent a lot of time with my sister.  She played a lot and I was able to start working on my black and white with a pop of color swap.  I have a lot of the pieces cut/punched out.  I am hoping today to get the embossed piece completed and punched out.  I would love to have this card completed by the end of today but I don’t know if that will happen.  Chris is going to take her to a family fun day his office is having so she will be with him some of the day.

I am still using my English Garden ds paper making samples for my class next week.  I thought I would do something using the paper again.  I found this great sketch at I Love Card Sketches  

I thought the striped paper would be perfect for this and the opposite side could be the horizontal strip.  I knew there were smaller images that could be used for the 3 circle elements.  Here is what I came up with for this sketch.

Thanks for visiting me today.  The heat is supposed to be on it’s way back so I will be spending lots of time in my craft room.  That will be good for me since I have my swaps to work on.  Have a Super Saturday!
