Hello Ladies ~ it has has been a while since I shared some Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas.
I spent most of yesterday working on my scrapbook pages for my upcoming class. I managed to get all the pages completed and the pieces cut for the ladies who will be doing the class. It feel good to have that out of the way. I also made some sympathy cards as I had a request from someone who buys my cards for those. I still have a long list but I am slowly crossing things off of it.
Today I am sharing some cards I made using the May 2016 Paper Pumpkin. Last weekend I took a couple of my Paper Pumpkins that were not completed and worked on them. I had several I had almost completed and just needed to do the stamping and they were finished. I took some time earlier this week to work on completing 3 of them.
The first one used some of the Mint Macaron glimmer paper from Sale-a-bration. I cut the sentiment out using the coordinating card stock. The stars and sentiment were stamped with the same color ink. Here is the first creation.

For my second card I wanted to use some of my retiring dsp. The Festive Birthday dsp was so colorful and fun and I knew it would be great for this card. I used the Hello You thinlits again and stamped some fun flowers from the matching stamp set. Here is the second creation.

For my last card I wanted to do a feminine version of the birthday card. I used the Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper from Sale-a-bration and the matching card stock and ink. For this one I did not have room to stamp “birthday” under the cut out so I stamped it on a scrap piece of card stock and used the retired washi label punch to punch it out. Here is the feminine version.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I have a workshop this morning and then I will be working on crossing some more items off my list. Have a Super Saturday and pull out your old Paper Pumpkin and come up with some alternative ideas.
