Well yesterday evening was quite an adventure. Michaela was trying to get to the east coast so she could see Remi. She made it to Dallas without any issues but it was snowing there. Her original flight to Connecticut got cancelled after waiting for an hour to get deiced (she was then going to fly down here). They rebooked her for a flight into Dullas which is about 2 hours away but she would not get in until midnight. They found an earlier flight for her arriving at Dullas again. She took off racing through the airport to get to the gate only to learn they cancelled that flight. She went back to the terminal and found her a flight landing at Reagan which is only a little over an hours away. She took off racing back to the other end of the terminal. She got on the plane and sat in line to get deiced.
A few of my commenters have asked about Remi. She is settling in as well as everyone else is slowly getting back to a routine. I will take some pics to share over the next few days and share.
Today is Simple Saturday. I saw a great sketch at Just Add Ink that I wanted to play with.
I thought it would be fun to play with the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper which is a Sale-abration item. I burnished it with Lost Lagoon and love how it turned out. I had just gotten my bow builder punch that day as it was on back order. I thought it would be perfect for the circle element. After that I just needed to add a sentiment and my card was finished. Here is my interpretation of the sketch.
