A quick and easy background how to idea

Here is a quick and easy background idea using the Stampin’ Up Blossoming Happiness dies.

Hello everyone – I look carefully at suites to make sure they are work my money. They have to be versatile and I really have to like everything in the bundle. The Hues of Happiness fit those requirements for me. Using the Blossoming Happiness dies I made a quick and easy background. This one was so easy with two cut panels for you card.

Look at how I used the die from Blossoming Happiness to create a quick and easy background. Love using my products in a variety of ways on my cards.

I was inspired by the challenge this week on the Facebook Group CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge. We were to CASE a card in the All Occasions section of the Annual Catalog. I chose to use the Petal Pink card on page 17.

The Blossoming Happiness dies not only cut out flowers there are also dies that you can use for a variety of elements on your cards.

I created 2 panels using the background die for the card. I did modify the layout slightly as the panels on the catalog card appeared to be the same size. The die is wider than what I figured out the panels to be so I adjusted the 3 to fit the card front. The flower was cut from the pattern paper using the coordinating die. Here is a close up of the card so you can see some of the details.

I did stamp the flower on the inside of the card and envelope and used alcohol markers to color them in.

I love using my products in a variety of ways on my cards. Don't miss seeing the quick and easy background I created for the card front using the Blossoming Happiness dies.

Using your dies to make backgrounds is a great way to stretch the use of your products. Here is an idea where I used leaf dies and some color blending. Look at this idea where I used the dies in a unique way to create an interlocking squares background.
