A Snow Pocket Letter card

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you are ready for the weekend.  I know I am!  This week flew by and I did not get half of what I wanted to accomplish done.

I have some ladies coming today for my December Workshop.  The theme this month was “Bring On The Bling”.  They will be making 4 cards that have a lot of sparkle and shine to them.  I shared the cards earlier this week so if you missed them you can scroll down.

I am currently working on a SNOW Pocket Letter.  I thought I would share one of the cards I made for one of the pockets.  When the recipient gets the pocket I will share the completed one with you.

I cut my base at 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ in Whisper White.  I cut a piece of the Season of Cheer striped paper 2 5/16″ x 3 5/16″.  I cut a strip of Whisper White and using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits I cut the  sleigh out.  I used my trimmer to trim to 2 5/16″ wide making sure the sleigh would be on the front of the card.  I then trimmed the piece to fit on the lower part of the card and rounded the edges.  I wrapped the white glitter ribbon around the card following the slant of the edgelit. I attached this panel to the base, added a few sequins, and my pocket card was complete.  Here is what the final card looks like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Zoie and I will be putting up our tree and putting up our outside decorations.  Wish us luck!  Have a Marvelous Monday!
