Hello Stampers!
Yesterday I spent 3 hours at Chick-fil-et with Zoie. She played in the playground and I worked on my Christmas card swap for the NOVA Regional I am going to next weekend. She had a great time and I managed to get all of my cards made. It was a win – win for both of us.
Today I am headed for Frederick, MD. My sister is getting married this afternoon. It should be a fun afternoon.
I needed a card for her gift and decided to see if I could use her invitation and CASE it as much as I could. Here is her invitation (the blank spot in the center is where I blocked out the names).
I saw the 2 hearts with the red ribbon and decided to try and use those elements. I also saw the gold around the hearts so I used my heart punch and brushed gold paper then white and created the hearts. I decided to use a retired embossing plate that had swirls to emboss the background then added the ribbon and hearts. Here is my version of the invitation.

The ribbon is the new sheer linen ribbon in the upcoming holiday mini. I think I did pretty good at CASEing the invitation. What do you think?
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you take some time for family today. Have a Super Saturday!
