Accented Blooms

Hello Stampers ~ I have been playing with some new products from the upcoming catalog and my project today uses the Accented Blooms and coordinating punch.

Well yesterday I had a list of things I wanted to do and I did not get to any of them.  Jess called me and Zoie had a headache and a fever and was not going to school.  I had her for the day.  Jess dropped her off at my house in the morning and then at lunch time we went to her house as she has toys there.  She took a long nap in the afternoon so hopefully the fever will break this evening.  Since everything I wanted to do was at my house I did not get it completed.  That means today I need to work on the list so that I get it completed.  I need to make sure I get it done as I may have Zoie again on Friday if she is not any better.

I have started playing with my preorder items.  One of the stamp sets I ordered was the Accented Bloom.  It coordinates with the Tailored Tag punch which I have from the Occasions catalog.  I have seen lots of projects where the stamp was stamped using black ink and colored in.  I decided to see if I could color the stamp using markers.  I colored all the flowers and leaves and then stamped it onto my Whisper White panel.  It took a while to color but wasn’t bad.  I also huffed on the stamp to remoisten the ink from my first coloring to make sure I got a good stamping.  I love the way it turned out.  Next I stamped my sentiment using Night of Navy ink and used the coordinating punch to punch it out.  The sentiment was added to the stamped image using dimensionals.  The panel was added to a Night of Navy card base.  To finish off the card I added some rhinestones.  Here is the completed Accented Blooms creation.
