Across the Waves - alcohol ink on vellum

Hello everyone – I have a fun technique for you today with the Across the Waves – alcohol ink on vellum idea.

Vicky and I are playing with vellum this month and showing you various ways you can use it in your card making. Make sure to check out her project here.

Today’s Project

One of the fun techniques you can use with vellum is alcohol ink. I had so much fun creating a vellum sheet that I used to make this card.

I used the panel to also die cut the butterflies, added a black layer and wow do they look fabulous! I also added some foiling to the wet ink which is so fun and easy! I have another whole panel left to play with.

I played with this idea using photo paper and made these cards. This card uses alcohol markers on vellum to create these pretty flowers.
