Across the Waves – dots and stripes

Hello everyone – I used both of the themes this month in a couple of ways to create the Across the Waves – dots and stripes card.
Each month Vicky and I choose 1 idea, product, etc. to focus our card making on. This month we have chosen dots and stripes. You can see Vicky’s project here.
Today’s Project
I decided to use both dots and stripes in my pattern paper. I also had a stripe embossing folder that I used for my background.
The newest Uniquely Creative card kit Indigo Bloom had both dots and stripe paper in my favorite color – pink. I pulled them out to use. To add more interest and texture I used a stripe embossing folder to emboss the background panel.

I chose my ephemera from the pack in the kit. I thought the bow and flowers were good images to go with the dots and stripes. All it needed was some bling to finish off the card.
