Across the Waves - Gypsy Heart vellum daisy

Hello everyone – I have the final vellum idea for you with the Across the Waves – Gypsy Heart vellum daisy card.

This is Vicky and my last play with vellum for this month. I hope you have enjoyed seeing all the ways you can use vellum. Make sure to check out Vicky’s project here.

Today’s Project

I have used embossing on vellum before but in this case the panel was used as a subtle background to add interest. I love how the daisy just peeks out from behind the other elements.

This card has a different embellishment cluster layout. Instead of mounting the cluster to the side of the back panel I flipped the panel and mounted it at the top. This left more of the panel showing to add interest.

Another idea for using vellum is to stamp an image and color on the back like for this card. A simple way to use vellum is to use it as an overlay for bright or busy paper to tone it down like this card.
