Across the Waves – Steampunk Chirps & Cheer

Hello everyone – I love the image I used for today’s Across the Waves – Steampunk Chirps & Cheer card.
Vicky and I choose a product, technique, etc. to focus on each month. This Month we are using watercolor pencils or colored pencils. Check out her project here.
Today’s Project
Steampunk usually has bold colors along with gray and black. I combined several different patterns from the kit for my card.
I wasn’t certain what image to use for today’s steampunk idea. I chose this cute chick and crossed my fingers that it would work. I think it turned out quite cute don’t you?

I needed to add a ribbon or gems so decided to use some of my black sparkly ribbon along with a mini paperclip to make a fun embellishment for my card. Love how it turned out so will be doing it some more!
