Another idea for the Layered Florals embossing folder

Hello everyone – are you ready for Another idea for the Layered Florals embossing folder?

I have shared several ideas using this beautiful embossing folder. Today I have another technique that is easy to do. Using an ink pad you ink up the flat side of the folder with you favorite color. Insert your white panel and emboss it. It adds color in the background for a great look. Here is what I created.

There are a few tips to help you be successful. Make sure you ink pad it well inked. Mine was not and I had inconsistent inking. If you get some areas that are not inked up, pull out a block, add ink and use a water painter to fill in any blank areas.

Another tip is to lightly spritz your card stock with water before you emboss it. This gives the paper a little bit of give to avoid unwanted lines. I hope these tips help you get a good embossed panel.

Here are some other ideas using this embossing folder. This card uses the folder as a background on this card. This folder is so gorgeous it can be used by itself for a beautiful card.
