Hello everyone – I have another embossing folder idea for you with the Anything Goes Saturday – seashell embossing folder idea.
There are so many ideas for using your embossing folders. Today’s idea colors images to add some color to your panel. I love this folder and used colors similar to shelving you might find on the beach.
Today’s Project
I began by using the 3D shell embossing folder to create my panel. I then used a variety of inks and blending brushes to color the various shells on the panel. I started using a light hand but on some of the shells I messed up and used a heavier hand which gave me some blotches. The key is always use a light hand.
I loved all the colors of the shells as it really gives a happy feeling like you get at the beach. A sparkly background layers adds some shimmer. I had some beach sets that had a great saying so I added that. To finish off the card some clear sparkly gems were added.
