Anything Goes Saturday – watercolor crayons
Happy Saturday stampers – another idea using a long lost product is today’s Anything Goes Saturday – watercolor crayons card.
There are many ways to use watercolor crayons but I chose to use them to do some watercoloring. After playing with these I can’t wait to play with them some other ways.
Today’s Project
I did some research before I started with this product and settled on using them to watercolor. I did also use them as crayons to make the beach grass. The 2 kits I had did not have brown for my beach so I googled how to make brown and found out you can use red, yellow, and blue. I was nervous about this but started by layering all the colors then adding water. I had to play with adding a little more blue to get the color I wanted. I then had to play with the sky and adding clouds. I had lots of fun playing with these crayons.
Check out the sky. It was just some scribbling and adding water. You have to use watercolor paper as the crayons need lots of water to blend them. Check out the sand color. Who knew you would get brown by mixing red, yellow, and blue!
