Around the Bend Color Challenge
Happy Friday Stampers – lots of bright colors were used to create the Around the Bend Color Challenge card.
Do you like to use bright bold colors in your paper crafting? They are so cheery when you look at them and they bring a smile to everyone’s face. The Facebook Group Color INKspiration Challenges has a fun color challenge that I wanted to play with.
The challenge did not use all bright bold colors but since I used Azure Afternoon as my card base that really causes the other colors to pop. The sponging of color onto the circle section adds a dramatic look to the softer colors.
The Around the Bend dies allows you to cut the edge of a card panel into a delightful border. The stand alone dies you can use to accent your cards. Check out these must-have dies!

Take a closer look at the flowers and leaves. I used my markers to trace the embossed lines on them. It adds dimension to the die cuts and gives them some interest.
I wasn’t certain how I was going to work the Crushed Curry into the design but I like the use to highlight the arc.
The Around the Bend dies have several different dies you can use for edges. This card uses one of them to create a fun edge to a panel. Here is another idea for using those flower die cuts.
Take some time and look at your die cuts. You may find some fun ways to use them.
