Autumn emboss resist

Hello everyone – I have a fun twist on an old technique with the Autumn emboss resist card.

I ran across this technique and knew it would be a great background for your card. I decided to try it with a twist. I used Versamark and brown as my ink which meant my images were brown and not white when you added the ink. I used some fall colors to make it bright and fun.

Today’s Project

To do emboss resist you ink up your stamp with Versamark – I also inked it with brown after I added the Versamark – and stamp your image. After you have covered your whole background you cover the images with embossing powder and heat set it.

When I think of Fall I think of bright golds and oranges with a touch of green. I chose those colors to use for my ink blending. There were a few spots where the 2 colors I used gave a brown so there is a touch of brown in there also. You blend the colors to cover the panel. Look at how colorful this panel is!
