Autumn Leaves

Good Morning Everyone ~ It is that time of year when we will begin to see the beautiful Autumn Leaves.

I managed to get a few cards made yesterday after my workshop.  I love having my cards made ahead of time as all I have to do then is write my post.  Makes my life so much easier!  What do you do to make your life easier?

Today is the Make My Monday challenge.  This time our challenge is

Autumn Leaves

I had an idea when I saw this challenge.  I have the Thoughtful Branches bundle and knew the leaves would be great with this card.  I sponged the card stock using Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Garden Green.  After I had the paper covered with ink, I used the leaf die to cut out a bunch of the leaves.   I also used our new copper foil to cut out a few of the leaves.  I then added some dots of glue to the back and let it dry.  Now I needed to add it to my card layer.  I chose to use Basic Black to really make the leaves to pop.  Once I had the leaves added to the layer, I needed to add my sentiment.  I used our new Copper embossing powder for my sentiment and mounted it onto a Copper Foil circle.  I mounted the whole layer onto a Garden Green card base.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Head over to the Make My Monday blog to see to see what the other ladies created using this challenge.  I am sure there are some fun cards there that will inspire you!  Have a Marvelous Monday and take some time to create your own Autumn Leaves!
