Basic Stencil

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have a basic stencil card for you today.  Do you like stenciling?

Well I could not get going yesterday.  I just wanted to be lazy and do nothing.  I finally got myself motivated and started filming a video which then took all afternoon to make as I kept having problems.  I guess yesterday was not a good day and I should have just been lazy!

I am doing a 6 month guest designer position at Card A Day Challenge Blog.  My first session is the first week of August.  This month they are doing a month long Stencil Extravaganza.  I did not have to participate but I decided it would be fun to do it.

For my basic stencil card I used a dandelion stencil and white card stock.  I sponged it with So Saffron on the flower and tufts blowing in the wind.  I then used Pear Pizzazz for the stem.  I mounted this on a Pear Pizzazz card base.    I then used the A Dozen
Thoughts set and stamped the Just Because Sentiment in Whisper White Craft ink on black card stock and heat embossed it with Whisper White embossing powder.  I used my paper
snips to flag the one end and attached the completed sentiment to the card
using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have to take Jess to drop off her truck to get it fixed then I have to prep for my workshop this evening.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and pull out your stencils and give it a try!
