Good Morning Everyone ~ how about a Beautiful Bouquet from Stampin’ Up Note creation to share today.
Well I managed to get my videos for this week made yesterday. I also did a planning call with a demo I am going to work with on the 12 Weeks of Christmas. We have talked about it and the tutorials will start late next week. These tutorials are exclusive to my newsletter subscribers. The only way you can get them is if you are signed up to receive my newsletters. If you are not signed up for my newsletter, use the form on the right to subscribe. You don’t want to miss these tutorials. Here are some photos of just a few of tutorials that were in my newsletters last year.
I have an appointment this morning to get my car insurance straight. I was scheduled to do this before the hurricane hit. This is the first chance the agent has to meet with me. They have been very busy with claims. I am curious to see how my policy will change. After that I am going to take Bijou to a groomer to see if they are a good match for her. I want a simple trim, wash and dry, and trim her nails. All the ones around here do a lot more and I don’t want that. I also have to find someone who will trim her the way I want. Most groomers are not familiar with Papillons and do a lot of trimming around the face and ears. I want to make sure that does not happen. After I find a groomer for her I have to find a hair dresser for me. That will be a real challenge!
Today is the next challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments . This time we have a color challenge.
These colors were a real challenge for me. I wasn’t certain how I was going to use them. I knew I could use Flirty Flamingo and Gorgeous Grape for flowers. I wasn’t sure how to work in the Night of Navy. I decided to use a layout I saw on another demonstrators card that I liked. I used the 2 1/4″ circle punch and Night of Navy card stock to punch out my circle. The Subtle embossing folder was used to add just a bit of texture. The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set was used to create my flowers and then the Bouquet Bunch framelits were used to cut them out. I wanted to add some sparkle so I used the leaf punch and Silver Foil paper to punch out a bunch of leaves. The sentiment was from Postcard Pals and the Classic Label punch was used to cut it out. Now it was time to assemble my card. The card base was Night of Navy card stock and a piece of the Wood Textures designer series paper was added on top. The Night of Navy embossed circle was added to the card base a little higher than center. Next I placed my flowers in the upper left corner and lower right corner of the circle. The silver leaves were added strategically among the flowers. The sentiment was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish off my creation, I added rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.
