Believe!

It’s the weekend!

I have a lot to do this weekend.  I will be making my traditional Southern Maryland Stuffed Ham on Sunday.  This is a day long process but the end result is delicious.  I will be taking it up to Jess’ for our Thanksgiving dinner.  My girls love this and we usually only have it on the holidays.

Today my card began with the sketch challenge at Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge

When I saw this sketch I was not certain what I was going to do.  I kinda played with it in my head and thought it would be fun to use some ds paper as the background and have a sentiment stamped on the diagonal strip.  With this idea I went looking at my catalog and the stamp sets with sentiments.  I wanted to do something that was not Christmas.  I ran across a sentiment that I thought make a great card.  I think you will be surprised with what I ended up with.  Here is my creation.

While I did not plan on a Christmas card, this one just fell together.  Hope you liked it.  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
