Birthday Blooms in Black and Red

Hello Stampers ~ wait until you see my Birthday Blooms in Black and Red creation!

I had a great time at Zoie’s play yesterday.  She did a great job.  Here are a few pictures from the performance.  I tried blocking out every one but Zoie but the picture pixelated too bad.  Hopefully you can click on the photo and see it better.  The theme of the play was Pajama Party.  They sang several songs and Zoie was even part of a small group that did some tap dancing.  It was so cute!

Today I have some appointments in the morning and then I  will be playing in my craft room.  I want to make some more cards using some of the new product in the upcoming catalog that goes live on June 1st.  I also need to think about my next Creations of the Month.  Make sure you check out my class for this month.  It is a great one that uses layering shapes.  It is the perfect class if you are wondering what else you can use your shapes for.

I have had fun going through my retiring product and finding some items to use before they are gone.  For today I began with the Pick a Pattern dsp.  I love the black and white paper and thought I could pair it with the cute flower in Birthday Blooms.  What color is perfect with black and white but red so that is the color I went with. I cut my designer series paper and added 2 strips of gold 1/8″ ribbon.  The designer series paper was then added to the front of the Real Red card base.  I stamped the flower using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it in using a Real Red and Old Olive marker.
