Birthday Flowers

Hello Stampers!

I am headed back to the chiropractor again today.  It is getting better but I can’t sit or stand for too long or it gets stiff.  No problem as I sit and check my e-mail and do other computer things then I get up and go into my stamp room for a while.  Makes for a busy day that goes by way too quickly.

For my coloring today I decided to pull out my Watercolor Crayons.

Do any of you still have these?  I have 2 sets.  Many of the colors are no longer current but I was able to find 4 that are still around that I could use for my coloring.  I stamped an image from the Flower Shop stamp set.  I then used my crayon and scribbled on my teflon mat.  I picked up the color with my aqua painter and colored my flowers.  Here are the flowers

I had an idea in my mind when I started this.  I thought it would be interesting to stamp the fern in the background and put the punched flowers on them.  After I punched the flowers, they needed something so I took my markers and added some color to the stripes on the flowers.  As I was making this card I remembered that a few ladies had asked for some birthday cards.  I decided to use the birthday sentiment so I had a card for them.  Here is what my final card looked like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you enjoyed my card and it will inspire you to do some coloring also.  Have a Great Day!
