Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone – do you often want to send birthday wishes to someone and wonder how you can create a quick card?  My share today will give you some ideas.

Today I am headed to Tysons Corner to meet one of my best friends!  We have not seen each other for about 2 months and we both had a free day to get together.  We will meet at the mall and do a little bit of shopping and then have lunch.  It will be fun to catch up with her and will be a relaxing day for both of us.

Today my share is a card I created using the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches

I wanted to use some of my items from my preorder.  I pulled out the Playful Palette designer series paper and found a piece that I wanted to use.  Since the paper was busy, I chose to keep the rest of the card simple.  I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I then used the Sugarplum ink to stamp the flowers around the lower edge.  I popped the panel up and added a simple bow and 3 punched flowers at the bottom.  To finish off the card I added some rhinestones to the flowers.  When I was finished the card I realized I had not added the banner in the background.  Oh well we all make mistakes some times.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  It is supposed to be rainy all day again today.  Perfect day to spend in your craft room.  Have a Super Saturday and take some time to send some Birthday Wishes!
