Good Morning Everyone ~ I love Black Eyed Susans, how about you?
Well I did not get as many cards made as I had hoped yesterday. I managed to get my walk in as well as tore my craft room apart so I could find a framelit that was dropped on Saturday. I did manage to find it which I was glad about. I also cleaned my bathrooms and did make my card for today. I have the makings for 2 more cards. Today I have a hair appointment today and then I need to make my Bags & Tags video. I am hoping to play with the other things also.
I loved the Sunflowers on the banner from yesterday. They made me think of Black Eyed Susans which are pretty predominant in the early Fall. I decided to try my hand at making some for my card today.
I began with the stamp set Grateful Bunch. I stamped it 3 times on Crushed Curry using Chocolate Chip ink. I then fussy cut them out. I used my Big Shot and the leaf die from the Botanical Builder framelits to cut out some leaves. To make my stems, I took a piece of Old Olive and one of the larger ovals from the oval framelits. I cut out a small piece and threw it away. I then used the curved edge to cut 3 more curved pieces. I was ready to assemble my card. I used some Tombow multipurpose liquid glue to add dots to the back of the curved pieces. I placed one of the Black Eyed Susans on my card where I wanted it. The curved piece was then attached to the card front using the flower for placement. After the stem was placed, I added a few of the leaves I had cut out. Glue dots were used to attach the flower to the top of the stem. This procedure was repeated for the second and third flower. Now that you have your flowers in place, there was a need for a bow. I used some brown twine I had and wrapped it around 2 times and then tied a bow. I chose my sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms and stamped it in Chocolate Chip ink. Attach your card front panel to your card base and your creation is complete! Here is the completed project.

Thanks for visiting me today. I am excited to get my hair cut as I am ready for a new look! Have a Great Day and I hope you enjoyed my Black Eyed Susans!
