Fall Thanks

Hello Everyone ~ How about a Fall Thanks card today?

Well I need to hit my craft room to make cards to post for the rest of the week.  I have some ideas I saw I want to try and I am hoping it works.

Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is today.  This month our theme is “Thank You” cards.

Since it is Fall I wanted to make a Fall card.   I went looking for a sketch challenge to use as I had not done a sketch challenge in a while.  I found a great sketch at TGIF Challenges

I thought about the Halloween Scene edgelits and decided to see what I could do.  I cut the tree from Soft Suede.  I then cut the fence out of Very Vanilla.  I knew I needed some pumpkins so I cut them out of Pumpkin Pie.  I used some Old Olive ink and sponged it onto the bottom of the card.  I attached the tree using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue.  I used the same glue to attach the fence.  The pumpkins were added with dimensionals.  I sponged some Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie ink around the tree.  The sentiment came from Thoughtful Banners and was stamped with Cajun Craze.  I took a piece of Crumb Cake and embossed it with the Woodland embossing folder.  I attached this to a Very Vanilla card base using Tear & Tape.  The panel was added to the card base with dimensionals.  To finish off the card I used a strip of the Petals & Paisley dsp.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to get at least 4 cards made today.  It will depend on how well the ideas come to me.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and take some time to make a Fall Thanks card of your own!
