Brightly Gleaming Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone ~ here is an idea for a Brightly Gleaming Happy Birthday card.

I had a great day playing with another demo yesterday.  He had the Cup of Christmas bundle and I saw a cute idea that used the bundle to make a little treat holder.  We met and we came up with the box to attach to the back.  The box will hold at least 2 maybe 3 Hershey Kisses.  It is so cute.  Here is the photo of the project we made.

We had a great time.  If you can see we also played with the puff paint at the top.  It was lots of fun.  After we got the box finished we also played with some of the glittery embossing paste.  I had not played with that before and it was fun.  Will be adding that to my next order.

Today is my last share of the Brightly Gleaming dsp.  I have shared 12 different ideas for you over the past week or so.  I have tried to show you how you can use what you have with this great paper.  Today’s share uses a #ShopYourCraftStash stamp set.  In 2017 we had a stamp set that had a group of candles.  I thought they would be perfect to create a birthday card with the last pattern from the paper.  I stamped the candles using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap of Whisper White.  To get the variation in the ink color, I stamped 3 of the candles using first generation of Night of Navy ink.  Next the other 3 candles were stamped using a second generation of Night of Navy ink.  The candles were stamped using Daffodil Delight ink.  The scrap was then cut down so the image panel was a better size.  This panel was added to a Silver foil sheet cut a little larger than the candle panel.  The hexagon patterned paper  was the piece that was left to use.  I took a piece of the Silver metallic edged ribbon and added it to the top of the dsp using Tear & Tape.  This panel was attached to a Night of Navy card base.  The candle image layered panel was attached to the card front using dimensionals.  The sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White using Night of Navy ink.  The Classic Label punch was used to punch out the sentiment.  After the sentiment was punched out it was reinserted into the punch and cut down so the punch fit the size of the sentiment.    To finish off the card a piece of the ribbon was used to tie a knot around the left hand side of the ribbon strip.  Here is the completed Brightly Gleaming Happy Birthday creation.

Look at the patterns of the designer series paper carefully as they can be used for lots of ideas. This Brightly Gleaming Happy Birthday card uses a #ShopYourCraftStash stamp set for a great card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am so excited I don’t have anywhere to go today.  I will be able to clean my bathroom and play in my craft room!  I have some things to get finished and lots of cards and videos to make for the next 2 weeks.  I have 3 days so I will get it done!  Have a Super Saturday and did you like how I used the paper to create my Brightly Gleaming Happy Birthday card?

  1. Good morning Robbie,
This is a very nice card. I think it would also make a good Christmas card just by changing the colors.
Thank you for sharing and your time.
