Hello Everyone ~ are you ready to see the Brightly Gleaming Snow idea that uses another designer series paper.
You would not believe what I got done yesterday morning. I was able to clean out my garage, wash the windows in my studio, wash all the rest of my screens, put the screens back in the windows I am keeping them in, and put the rest of the screens in the attic for storage. After all that I needed a shower and then had my lunch. I took a little bit of time to relax a little and then went up to my studio and made 2 cards and a video. It was a very successful day. Today I am going to prepare for my class tomorrow and in the afternoon I have a time slot to do a make-n-take at the library again. I am hoping the librarian who told me she knew some people were coming is correct.
There was such a great response to the series I did using the Feels Like Frost dsp that I thought I would do another one of the papers in my 2019 Holiday Product share. This time I will be sharing ideas for the Brightly Gleaming dsp. This is gorgeous paper with copper accents. I will be showing you how you can use this paper in other ways besides Christmas. Make sure you get some of this gorgeous paper to play with using the ideas I will be sharing with you. Today’s card uses the Navy star pattern. This is gorgeous paper and I thought it would be good for a night sky. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and would be perfect for a #ShopYourCraftStash idea. I wanted to use the Hometown Greetings Edgelits to create a scene. I chose the 2 strips with the houses and using some Whisper White card stock I cut both of them out. I started with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of card stock so I would have plenty of extra to cut off. After I cut the edgelits out, they were glued together. I wanted them to glisten like they were covered with snow so I used the Wink of Stella glitter brush and went over the whole piece. Next I used my Brightly Gleaming dsp and to ensure I did not use more of the dsp that I did not need I used my card base and set the edgelits down and measured the length I needed to cover the background. After I cut the dsp I glued it onto the card base and then added the houses. To finish the card I used the Itty Bitty Greetings and copper embossing powder for the sentiment. Here is the completed Brightly Gleaming Snow idea.

These edgelits are great for creating cards. Check out this Sponged Background for Hometown Greetings Edgelits idea. And here is an Eclipse Technique Card that uses those dies also. Check them out.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. Today’s card was the one I made on World Card Making Day. Did you make any cards on Saturday? I hope you had some time to play. Have a Marvelous Monday and I love the copper accents in this Brightly Gleaming Snow creation.
