Well I am still making some Halloween cards (I did sneak in a fall card that you can see tomorrow). The Penny Black blog has a challenge and call for new design team members. I have always loved her stamps (especially the hedgies and the cats). They are so much fun to work with. This week you had to make a spooky card or creation. It is hard to make a spooky card with her images. This cat in the pumpkin was just too cute not to use. I also used my plaid set to create the background. I also did some color blending to add some depth. I think the ribbon adds just the right punch to the overall effect. Since I did not have a boo stamp that was small enough I used my alphabet set to stamp it. I also used some more of the glitter dots (I love these and will definitely have to get some more. Well enough with the chit chat, here is my card (I think it is just too cute, but may be just a little prejudiced).
Bump in the Night
Stamps: Beware of Cat (Penny Black), Perfect Plaids and Classic Alphabet (both retired) Paper: Basic Black, Gable Green, Only Orange, white Ink: Basic Black, Blush Blossom, Creamy Caramel, Garden Green, Green Galore, Only Orange, Pretty in Pink Accessories: Summer Sun marker, ribbon (Michael’s), glitter dots (Gina K Designs), aqua painter, sticky tape, dimensionals
Isn’t this just the cutest card. Hmmmm, I wonder who will get it in the mail? Thanks for looking and have a great evening!
