C.A.S.E. The Catty Sketch Idea

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have a new series for you with my C.A.S.E. The Catty Sketch Idea creation.

I got my table cleaned up yesterday, made my card for Thursday, and my video for Sunday.  I now have all my post ideas for the rest of the week.  I think today I will play with some ideas I have saved I wanted to try.  I also have an appointment with a new hair stylist to talk to her and see if she can do my hair like my lady back in Maryland did it.  It is not hard but I need to find someone who will cut my hair the best way for my type of hair rather than the way everyone else gets theirs cut.  I am hoping this lady can do it.  I will know more after our meeting this afternoon.

I had posted for feedback as to whether people wanted me to continue with my One Color Wonder or try something new.  I only heard from one person and she said I could alternate the ideas.  I liked that idea so I decided to try that.  This week I opted to take a card from the catalog and make a sketch of the card.  I chose this card on page 14 of the Occasions Catalog.

From that card I created this sketch.

I then used the sketch to create my video explaining how I used the sketch for my card.  Here is the video for my C.A.S.E. The Catty Sketch Idea.

So you can see the details a little better on the card, here is a photo of it.

If you are ever stumped about what card to create turn to your catalogs for ideas. Here is a C.A.S.E. the Catty Sketch Idea I created using a card in the Occasions catalog.

This great image was used for a C.A.S.E. the Catty Sketch Idea. Check out the video to see how I used the sketch to create my version.

I have created many cards using the First Frost stamp set.  This idea uses one color and could easily be recreated in any color.  If you need a clean and simple idea, check out this All Occasion card.  This idea uses a watercolor technique for a great card.

  1. Love your CASE of the catty card….however, your video cut out just as you were highlighting the white ink over the embossed piece! Can you please finish it with another video?

Love the colors you are using!

    Thank you very much!

    • Thanks Carol! I need to go check out my external hard drive and see if it happened with the upload to You Tube. I have had that happen before and not sure why. I will fix it. Thanks for letting me know.
